The block valve type BV has been developed to save space, time and costs. As standard the block valve is designed for use in the liquid line for regulating and shut off purposes. However, it can be used in any application where a number of refrigeration controls are required.
The block valve combines the functions of different products in one compact unit, such as solenoid valves, strainers, manual expansion valves, check valves, stop valves and and others. Consequently, the number of joints requiring connection and installation time is reduced considerably.
As standard the block valve is available in two versions, BV 1 and BV 2: BV 1 consists of a strainer, type FA 15, and a solenoid valve, type EVRST15 (DN 10 mm connections, Kv -value = 1.52 m3/h).
BV 2 combines the functions of a strainer, type FA 15, a solenoid valve, type EVRST, and a manual expansion valve (DN 10 mm connections/3 mm orifice of the manual expansion valve, Kv -value = 0.36 m3/h).
BV 1 and BV 2 are available in steel or stainless steel and with connections from 10 to 25 mm.,
In principle, there are no limits to the specifications of the block valve: The user decides the number of valves, dimensions, design etc. Thus the concept meets the refrigeration industries’ demands for customer specific products with substantially reduced installation and running costs.
